1st naseba seven test week:  4,000 meter swim, either a 60/80 km bike and 13/20 km run every day for 7 days

Day 1

Swim:  1:03
transition:  10 minutes
Bike:  2:07
transition:  7 minutes
Run:  1:35

Comments:  I am in Austria with my family for the month of August to be able to focus on my training with Mario.
Today was the first day of my week long test (I have 3 tests over the next 3 1/2 months – this week is the first one)
The swim was easy, but I wanted to break an hour for 4,000 meters …so was dissapointed with my time.
The bike transition was smooth and easy.
The bike was 3 x 20 km loop — I felt good on the bike and when it finished, I felt like the day was over because the 13 km run … I thought would be easy because 13km isnt very long….
Mario rode and ran with me …. he set the pace on the bike and then he kicked my ass on the run, and I couldnt keep up with him.
The run was 4 laps on a trail run, a lot of steep climbs and overall not a pleasant experience…
It will be interesting to see how the week develops.
Mario told me as he dropped me off at my apartment … “only 6 days left, but one day this week you will have a big surprise…a big surprise”
I replied, “Good.  I like surprises…”
