Bike:  120km (was scheduled for 160km)
Run:  maybe an hour (was scheduled for 2 hours)

I had a shit day.  Mario told me that my position on the bike is too high and he would lower it when he comes to Dubai. 
But I had a 6 hour ride scheduled … as I started off on my ride, I kept thinking that I was too high on the bike (although I rode 180km two days ago in the same position and was comfortable) … but I started to feel stiffness in my right calf, and so after the first lap (60km) I lowered the stem 3 notches.

Then I rode another 60km.  Instantly, I noticed the difference.  Within 10 kms, my shoulders hurt, and my elbow.  I was very annoyed that I wasted my time to lower the bike… by the end the 60km lap, my left shoulder and neck hurt more than it ever has on a ride… so I decided to take the bike to Probike to have Albert sort out the position (Toby- the retul bike fitter is out of town until 20th)

My idea was I would have the bike position sorted then come back, ride the last 60km and do my run.
It took 75 minutes to go to the bike shop and back … get my bike position raised a notch (so lowered two notches from what I was fitted)
I ended up half heartedly running, annoyed with how I wasted a training day.

I then came home an hour later than I had scheduled…. to a great meal sophie had prepared for me … and I was tired and annoyed with myself for fucking up my bike position, and having a bad day….  and ended up ruining the great dinner by getting into a fight with Sophie over nothing….I was just a total asshole.

Now its 5:30am and I am off for a 3 hour ride.
My body is much more sore today than it has been in a long time — and I am sure its the change in position on the bike.
