woke at 4:15
breakfast strong coffee, whole wheat toast, special K and EAS protein shake
Run: easy 45 minute run at 10 km/h on the tread mill 5heart rate was much lower today, (142-145) so yesterdays high rate must have been due to waking so early.
Lunch: lots of water and 4 pieces of whole wheat cracker (i left my lunch at home and I did not have my keys until end of the afternoon – mistake, I should have eaten more
late afternoon snack/lunch (5pm) 8 scallops, brocoli, large bowl of blue berries and a banana
Swim: 45 minutes – I have not swum much in the past week or so, but I had a good feel for the water and felt strong. The sea was very rough, and I only did 45 minutes because the seas were getting very choppy and dark. But good 45 minutes
Comments: i slept ok, but woke several times to piss. I only had a 90 minute swim scheduled, but I feel much better when I train in the morning so I did a 45 minute run on the treadmill. Mario is staying at my house because of the Monaco Ironman and he had my keys so I missed my lunch. I have a 4 hour ride tomorrow after work.
Total training today: 90 minutes
