woke at 4:00 (slept great)
breakfast: oatmeal, strong coffee
BIKE: 90 minutes very easy ride
RUN: 2:20 hours
comments: My ride was very easy, and it took 20 minutes to get my heart rate above 115. My main focus was the run. I drank plenty of water leading up to the run. The first 15 minutes of the run my legs felt very sore and my heart rate was 112, but after the intial 15 minutes, I got into an easy paced run. Very hot. Not a cloud in the sky and the sun pouring down on me. After 90 minutes I was dehydrated and stopped by my car to get some water, but I drank too much water and it giggled in my stomach as I ran for a good 30 minutes. (I need to make sure I do not over drink at the IM) Anyway, good work out and I could have easily run 4 hours. Heart rate around 135 for last 90 minutes
lunch: organic turkey salad and green tea
I have not been dieting or really watching my weight the past few weeks, but I have lost 3 kilo, I want to lose another 5 kilo before Dec 5th.
Dinner: (Sophie and I went to the restaurant Bichi with Nic and Jenny)
bread, pasta with sea food and a few bites of tiramasu
Total training today: about 4 hours
