woke at 4am (I am in France so it was really 6am for me because of the 2 hour time difference with Dubai.  In Dubai, I normally wake at 4am so in fact I slept too much)

BIKE:  60 minutes hill training
SWIM:  60 minutes in my pool
Comments:  Last night I had two glasses of wine and got a bit drunk … I dont drink often so the wine hit me hard and I felt lethargic all day.  The bike ride this morning was down to Nice and back to La Turbie (basically 60 minute climb) I was scheduled to run today, but I wanted to ride more because I am in France and can take advantage of the hills.  I have a 7 hour ride again tomorrow (I had a 7 hour ride last week in Dubai – in the desert)  I dont feel as ready for Nice as I was for WAIM or NZIM … but I will be ready.

MISC:

I have not kept my training journal on my blog because it has been more convienent to write it on paper than on the computer – I didnt have wifi at home for a few days and I traveled … and I was lazy.  But I am going to get back into journaling my workouts on the blog because it helps me focus and puts a form of presure on me.

I have a 7 hour ride tomorrow – I will ride the Nice IM course and then immediately after I finish the course, I will run for one hour.

My weight seems to be stuck at 93 kilo (205 lbs)  I dont know how or why I am not losing more weight, or at least body fat because I eat a strict vegan diet and very little pasta.

I want to try and get to 85-87 kilo by June 27th 

After Nice IM, I am going to focus on swimming and weight lifting and take a break from all this biking.  I will spend 3 months (July, August and Septemner) lifting and long distance swimming ….
