Woke at 5am and made my toast and strong coffee.
SWIM:  3 hours from Catel plage to the Nice airport and back.

comments:  I swam as far out as I could not to see other people.  Long easy swim – I forgot to put vaseline under my arm pits and neck so both areas are raw.

I started from Castel plage (a private beach so had to pay 12 euro)  Castel is on the furtherst side of the beach, thus by swimming to the airport and back, I get the entire beach covered.
also, i dont have to worry about my things being stolen.

i have 7 weeks of training left before my big swim …
