I am disgusted at how the media is force feeding/selling us fear..
Just read the headlines of all the US news sites and you would think the world was coming to an end.

But buried under a bevy of fearful headlines is something which puts things into a perspective: top 5 reasons not to panic about the swine flu. http://abcnews.go.com/Health/SwineFlu/story?id=7443116&page=1

Only 10% of the people infected in Mexico died whereas SARS and Birdflu 50-60% of those infected died.

Why isnt the media focusing on educating us on the facts, and the facts point to the swine flu is nothing like SARS and/or the Bird flu, absolutely nothing like the potential pandemic we are being sold to fear.

One of the news sites points out that this time of year the world always sees an increase in the amount of people who catch the flu, irrespective of pigs or not.

Every day we face so many reasons; spoon fed excuses not to make our lives happen.
