Swim:  3,600 meters
Bike:  4 hours (missed  workout)
Core Strength:  90 minutes

Comments:
Once again, I organized to begin my day with a good bike and decided to swim in the afternoon.
I wanted to start the ride at 7am because I figure that will be around the time I begin the bike after the swim on naseba7.

So, once again, I neatly organized the car with my drinks, food, etc.  Said good bye to Sophie and made plans to be back by 12:30 for lunch.

Drove the 30 minutes to where I would ride today (the exit after Ghantoot driving from Dubai to Abu Dhabi) 
Arrived, set up my bike, organized my waterbottles, and started to ride when I discovered both my tires were flat.
I am an idiot … I didnt fill them back with air after I flew back from Austria — and I didnt have my bike pump to put air in them.

As I was putting my bike back in the car, by chance Mario called me from Kona to see how I was doing … I explained my situation and he told me he prefered I swam first any way.

So I drove 30 minutes back home and stopped at the gym to swim. 

I had a strong swim, and great feel for the water.  I am in the best swim shape I have been since university or high school, not the same caliber, but at least the same strong feel for the water … I am sure it has to do with the fact I am 185lbs (85 kg) and much stronger in the water.

I had a lunch and family day which had been organized around the assumption I would ride my bike first thing in the morning, thus I didnt make time to ride my bike after the swim.

This evening, I had great core strength workout which made me feel like I didnt waste another day of training …
but missing total of 11 hours of biking in the past 2 days is not going to help me finish 7 ironman in 7 days thats for sure…

Tomorrow I have a 7 hour ride followed by a 2 hour run …. and all is set up and organized so I will make this happen.
I will begin my ride at 9am.

Think of me tomorrow …. I will be some where between Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the middle of the desert on nearly car free roads …. once I rode 7 hours and saw 6 cars the entire ride – so where I am training is literally in no man’s land.  But the roads are perfect.  I will organize to do 60km laps and carry 3 liters of water with me at a time, and then stop by my car to pick up more water and food after each lap.
Also, they are filming tomorrow so should be good.
