The United Arab Emirates, a destination of choice for tourists all over the world and equally, an environment that provides the ultimate training base for professional and amateur athletes altogether will play host to one of the toughest human endurance tests yet conceived. The period between November 25th to December 5th, the week of UAE National Day celebrations, will see American-born, Scott Ragsdale, businessman by day, adrenaline junkie by nature attempt the unconceivable: SEVEN Iron-distance triathlons, across the SEVEN Emirates of the UAE, in SEVEN consecutive days.

Making it Happen

Each day will be a sporting saga consisting of a 3.86 km swim, 180.25 km cycling and a marathon of 42.195 km – completed in that order and in less than 17 hours per Iron-distance triathlon.

The Race

The route

The race starts in Fujairah and then moves through the other emirates, only to finish
seven days later in Abu Dhabi on UAE National Day. The order in which the Emirates
of the UAE will be completed is as follows:

  • Fujairah
  • Ras al Khaimah
  • Umm al Qiwan
  • Ajman
  • Sharjah
  • Dubai
  • Abu Dhabi
