Mario Huys is a former professional triathlete, 47 times Ironman finisher and world record holder for double Ironman (two consecutive Ironman triathlons, both finished under 10 hours). He holds a Master degree of Sports & Science. Mario Huys has been coaching triathlon, cycling, rowing, skiing and distance running since 1986.
Over the years, Mario has coached some of the most successful athletes in the sport of triathlon and duathlon. Some of the pro athletes coached by Mario Huys include Michial Weiss (Austria), Josef Fuchs (Austria), José Jeuland (France), Manuel Wyss (Switzerland), Dorian Wagner (Germany), Philip Methion (France), Luc Van Lierde (Belgium), Kate Allen (Australia), Daniel Hechenblaickner (Austria), Yvonne Van Vlerken(Netherlands), Irina Kirchler (Austria).
