woke at 4:15 (slept ok)
breakfast: 4 pieces of whole wheat toast, strong coffee
Bike: I had hill training today so I rode up towards my home in La Turbie.
Roquebrunne to La Turbie is one long wynding hill which is a great training ride. 40 minutes into the ride, near la turbie, I had a flat tire so I had to walk the bike down — took about 90 minutes to walk down in my socks (cant walk in bike shoes)
2nd breakfast: spinach omlette, bowl of orange slices
Lunch: spinach, brown rice, green beans
Dinner: (cafe la fontain) vegetable soup, lamb and a glass of red wine, strawberries
Comments: only rode 45 minutes when I got a flat and had to walk back in my socks, but the view along the walk was gorgeous. ate a big dinner
total training today: 45 minute ride and then a 90 minute walk down which is not training, so all in all I did only 45 mins today
