woke at 5:30 (slept very well)
BIKE: 90 minutes
RUN: 35 minutes
breakfast: special k cereal, strong coffee, fruit salad
Lunch: chicken pita brie sandwhich, 3 liters of water
Dinner: tata made sausage curry that i like – with white rice, one glass of wine
Total training today: 2:05
Comments: Have had mediocre training last week — and i felt like absolute shit all week (always sleepy and lethargic)
I went to the bike shop in Dubai to find out about riding from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, which I was told is not possible along the main road (illegal) so i drove about 30 minutes to a place between dubai and abu dhabi which had a series of roads, perfect for cycling – in the middle of the desert, no cars so absolutely perfect. I dont have my tri bike so the long bike ride was not ideal form. I ran immediately after the 90 minute ride and it was very hot, but good experience.
I felt great all day long.
