woke at 4:15 (slept great, went to bed around 22:00)
breakfast: 2 pieces of toast, strong coffee
RUN: 90 minutes (last 10 minutes I pushed to near failure and I imagine my heart rate was very high – my legs were dead last 60 minutes of the run)
comment: my shins were very sore, almost like shin splints. I ran through the pain and I noticed it went away, but my legs are very sore and tired.
2nd breakfast: bowl of oranges, infinit recovery drink
Lunch: (at “petite mason” in Nice) cesar salad, sea bass, two small pieces of brown, cereal bread (no wine and no desert)
snack: oranges and strawberries
SWIM: 60 minutes (good feel for the water, but my hips are too low in the water. Felt like there was a strong current. swam at the beach in monaco
dinner: two pieces of whole wheat toast and cheddar cheese, EAS protein shake
(went to bed around 20:30)
Comments: I had a good run in the morning; pushed to make the 2nd half faster than the first half. My diet was good and I had an ok swim. I went to bed very early because I was so tired
