woke at 3:15, but got out of bed at 4:00
breakfast: strong coffee, 2 pieces of whole wheat toast, orange slices
lunch: tomato and mozzerelo, 2 x 1.5 liters drunk over 2 hours
Weights: ( 2 x 12, 2 x 8 ) 75% to failure

I did a set of 12 back raises between each exercise, thus did 5 sets of 12 back raises
did not have time to run or bike so jogged 10 minutes at 8.5 km/h warm down
Dinner (friends birthday dinner at Petite Mason in Nice)
glass of champagne, cesar salad, several pieces of bread (to absorb the wine), 1.5 glasses of white wine, small portion of pasta with truffle and a large piece of red meat, 2 glasses of red wine, peaches and blueberries for desert
Comments: I lifted well, but the sea was far too rough to swim (it looked like a storm the seas were so high) I rarely drink white wine now a days so I did not enjoy the mixing of champagne, white wine and red wine. I ate a lot of bread to ensure I didnt get drunk. The large piece of steak was great – other than the wine and champagne, the dinner was not too much.
